Job Summary :

Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in Playwright to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our web applications. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and QA analysts to drive test automation and improve overall testing efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript or Python/Java).
• Create and maintain end-to-end, regression, and smoke test suites.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, etc.).
• Collaborate with developers and QA analysts to understand requirements and define test strategies.
• Ensure cross-browser and cross-platform test coverage.
• Analyze test results, debug failures, and provide clear defect reports.
• Continuously enhance automation coverage and optimize test execution performance.
• Stay updated with the latest Playwright features and QA automation trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 25 years of experience in QA Automation with strong expertise in Playwright.
• Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript (preferred) or Python/Java.
• Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and design patterns (e.g., Page Object Model).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
• Solid knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, REST APIs, JSON).
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with other automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Puppeteer).
• Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, Rest Assured).
• Exposure to cloud testing platforms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, LambdaTest).
• Familiarity with performance and load testing.
• Working knowledge of Docker or containerized test environments

Salary: Not a constraint for best talents
