Job Opportunity: Financial Director

A high-level leadership role in finance is available for an individual who can drive financial growth and stability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Governance:
    • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial statements, P&L, balance sheet, and cash flows through month-end/year-end closing and reporting.
    • Strengthen internal financial controls, risk management, and compliance across the organization.
    • Oversee the implementation of robust accounting practices and ERP systems to drive efficiency and accuracy.
    • Manage statutory, internal, and tax audits to maintain regulatory adherence.
  • Strategic Finance & Business Planning:
    • Lead long-term financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to inform strategic initiatives and growth plans.
    • Partner with leadership on capital allocation, profitability, unit economics, and ROI improvement initiatives.
  • Financial Operations:
    • Oversee daily finance operations including accounts payable, receivable, and payroll to ensure timely and accurate processing.
    • Ensure tax compliance (GST, TDS, income tax) and regulatory adherence in all financial processes.
    • Review and approve all financial processes, reconciliations, and vendor payments to maintain accuracy and control.
  • Fundraising & Investor Relations:
    • Support equity and debt fundraising efforts through transparent and timely financial reporting.
    • Build investor confidence by maintaining open communication channels and providing regular updates on financial performance.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing finance and accounts team to foster a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
