Job Title: API Sourcing Specialist

Are you an experienced professional with a passion for procurement and vendor management? Do you have a keen eye for detail and a knack for building strong relationships with suppliers?

We are seeking an exceptional API Sourcing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement department, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process for Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supplier Identification and Qualification: Identify, evaluate, and qualify API suppliers globally in alignment with client requirements.
  • Negotiation and Contract Management: Negotiate pricing, terms, and supply agreements with vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
  • Procurement Process Management: Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including request for quotations (RFQs), purchase orders, and supply contracts.
  • Vendor Performance Monitoring: Monitor supplier performance, compliance, and adherence to quality, delivery, and regulatory standards.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with internal teams (quality assurance, regulatory, and supply chain) to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in API sourcing, procurement, or supplier management within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Understanding of global regulatory requirements (USFDA, EMA, etc.) for API sourcing.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
