Business Analyst Role

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to act as a liaison between business stakeholders and development/technical teams.

  • The ideal candidate will facilitate requirement gathering sessions and workshops with product owners, ensuring that business goals, processes, and challenges are understood to propose effective solutions.
  • They will prepare detailed business requirement documents, functional specifications, and user stories, and support product owners in defining product roadmaps and backlog prioritization.
  • The Business Analyst will also assist in creating wireframes/mockups to support visual understanding of requirements and coordinate with cross-functional teams including QA, development, and UX.
  • Additionally, they will participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and reviews as part of Agile methodology, conduct gap analysis and impact assessments for changes/enhancements, and ensure business requirements are well understood and implemented correctly by technical teams.
  • Finally, the Business Analyst will perform user acceptance testing coordination and support stakeholders during UAT cycles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The successful candidate will communicate status, risks, and issues to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.
  • They will manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively, leveraging strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for this role.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably with international clients.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies is required.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Azure DevOps Board and JIRA is necessary.
  • Experience creating user stories, process flows, and wireframes is an asset.
