Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Engineering Cybersecurity Consultant to fill a key role in our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security of our industrial automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with our runtime Cybersecurity Advisor/Coach to develop secure software development practices, in accordance with Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL) and internal cybersecurity standards.
  • Provide expert guidance on architecting, designing, and threat modeling to team members during the development cycle. Conduct code reviews as part of the SDL process to ensure adherence to security best practices.
  • Evaluate, track, and resolve product and runtime cybersecurity issues, including technical debt in third-party packages, reported through various channels such as CVEs, OS/package patches, and commercial/FOSS packages.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer Science, Robotics, or related field
  • 8-12 years' experience in code development for multitask embedded systems running in Linux, VxWorks/RTOS, and Windows
  • Strong programming skills with object-oriented design (C/C++) and scripting languages (Python, Bash, Shell, PowerShell)
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity issues common to C/C++, Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures, and IEC 62443-4-2
  • Familiarity with Open-source software (OSS), Git, GitHub, Debian GNU/Linux, Ubuntu, Software Composition Analysis (SCA), Static Code Analysis, and Static Application Security Testing (SAST)
  • Able to work effectively with cross-functional and global teams, aligning and bringing best-in-class processes and coding standards
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to work with team members in India, Europe, and U.S. EST time zone
