Embedding Innovation from the Ground Up

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Firmware Engineer to spearhead the creation of cutting-edge embedded systems for smart camera solutions.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and oversee the entire embedded software stack for the smart camera system.
  • Lead the development and integration of custom hardware boards, ensuring seamless BSP creation.
  • Design and implement Linux kernel drivers for cameras, wireless modules, and sensors, guaranteeing optimal performance and functionality.
  • Expertly integrate and debug various wireless communication protocols, including Wi-Fi, Zigbee, and LoRa.
  • Drive the development of high-quality camera subsystem drivers (MIPI CSI-2, ISP tuning, V4L2) that meet stringent requirements.
  • Implement sophisticated low-power operation features, sleep modes, and battery monitoring mechanisms.
  • Collaborate closely with the hardware team to optimize power consumption and ensure effective hardware-software co-design.
  • Develop innovative interfaces for Edge AI inference pipelines (TensorFlow Lite or similar).
  • Utilize JTAG, logic analyzers, and embedded logging tools to troubleshoot complex system issues.
  • Document system architecture and provide expert guidance to junior team members on APIs and best practices.
Mandatory Skills and Qualifications
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Extensive knowledge of Embedded C/C++ and Embedded Linux (Yocto, Buildroot).
  • Proven experience in Linux kernel development and device driver programming.
  • Deep understanding of Wi-Fi driver stacks and wireless MAC layers.
  • Experience integrating and tuning camera modules and MIPI-CSI pipelines.
  • Familiarity with wireless protocols, especially Zigbee and/or LoRa.
  • Hands-on experience with battery-powered embedded systems and power management.
  • Expertise in BSP development, bootloader customization, and OS bring-up.
  • Proficiency with Edge AI models on embedded targets (ARM-based or DSPs).
  • Basic knowledge of schematic review and hardware debugging tools (oscilloscope, multimeter).
  • At least one full-cycle embedded product development experience (from prototype to field deployment).
