Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Junior Accountant to join our team.

As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for performing daily accounting tasks, including recording financial transactions, managing vendor invoices and payments, and preparing financial statements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Record daily accounting entries, including invoices, receipts, payments, and expenses.
  • Manage vendor invoices and payment tracking with accuracy.
  • Assist in TDS payment, Softex filing, and GST compliance under senior accountant guidance.
  • Maintain books of accounts in Zoho Books (India) and support QuickBooks (US entity) where required.
  • Prepare and reconcile bank statements, including foreign client payments for export transactions.
  • Support month-end closing activities and prepare audit-ready documentation.
  • Coordinate with HR team and process payroll using payroll software.
  • Ensure records are updated for statutory filings, external audits, and other compliance needs.

Required qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or commerce.
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in accounting, bookkeeping, and statutory compliance (preferably IT/ITES industry).
  • Proficiency in Zoho Books (mandatory).
  • Exposure to QuickBooks and automated vendor payment tools an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently on day-to-day accounting and support senior accountants in compliance activities.
