Document Management Specialist
We are seeking a detail-oriented professional with 6-8 years of experience in the Oil & Gas, Energy, or Power industry.
Key Responsibilities- Document Control Procedures: Develop and update consistent and standardized document control procedures to ensure accurate preparation and management of project-related documents.
- Training & Support: Provide instructions and training to internal and external users to improve document management processes.
- Coordination & Communication: Act as a central point of contact for internal and external requests, coordinating with project managers, engineers, and other discipline leads.
- Data Security & Compliance: Maintain the security of confidential data and assist with hard copy and electronic turnover of documents upon project completion.
- Quality Assurance: Review and update technical documents to ensure all work adheres to quality management and operating procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: A minimum of 6-8 years of experience in the Oil & Gas, Energy, Power, or a related industry.
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in any discipline; a degree in Library or Data Science is a plus.
- Skills:
- Technical: Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and computer skills. Experience with document management systems like Procore, Aconex, and Hexagon SDx is highly preferred.
- Interpersonal: Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills, and a strong attention to detail.
- Organizational: Delivery-focused, deadline-oriented, and possessing excellent organization and documentation skills.
- Problem-Solving: A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work in different shifts if necessary.
