Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Import Documentation Executive to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing import documents for pre and post shipments, with a focus on LC documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage import documents for pre and post shipments, focusing on LC documentation.
- Coordinate with import customers through correspondence for international markets, covering documentation and international marketing.
- Effectively coordinate purchasing and customer needs in relation to shipments and documentation.
- Handle and schedule the export process from order receipt to material dispatch, including relevant documentation.
- Collaborate with the team and follow up with vendors, CHA, and customers for shipments and payments.
- Utilize strong negotiation skills to secure best rates and services from CHA and transport companies, meeting deadlines and target dates.
- Oversee export documents related to import benefits, licenses, bank correspondence, BRC, Excise, H forms, Focus, and DGFT licenses (FMS, Drawback, SHIS).
- Perform daily follow-ups to ensure order completion and meet client requirements.
- Maintain correspondence with banks regarding export document submissions and payments.
Requirements:
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of import regulations and documentation procedures.
- Experience working with international markets and customs clearance.
