Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Professional to support the Accounting department in producing accurate and timely financial statements.

  • Prepare and record AP, AR, and other general accounting transactions accurately and within deadlines.
  • Review and account for corporate expense reports thoroughly and maintain transparency.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliation with high attention to detail.
  • Support with tax filings and ensure compliance.
  • Review monthly Income Statement and provide clear explanations on the monthly fluctuations for P&L accounts.
  • Process weekly check run for vendor payments efficiently.
  • Initiate wire requests as needed.
  • Request and maintain W-9/W-8 information for vendors effectively.
  • Create necessary AP accrual journal entries and monthly deferral entries with precision.
  • Coordinate 1099 filings and ensure accuracy.
  • Prepare AP and other Accounting documents requested for audit with thoroughness.
  • Work directly with auditor for any questions or clarifications.
  • Perform walkthrough of Accounting tasks as requested by auditors.
  • Ensure the accuracy of Fixed Assets additions & retirements.
  • Maintain Fixed Assets Module with up-to-date information.
  • Verify that all assets are depreciated monthly.
  • Verify that monthly depreciation journal entries are accurate.
  • Create all necessary retirement entries with care.
  • Earn government filings and business renewals are filed on time.
  • Maintain Business Filings document with essential details.
  • Work with tax consultant to ensure compliance.
  • Assist management on special projects as required.
  • Work with various departments as information is required from accounting department.
  • Assists accounting/finance department in ad hoc tasks and/or projects with flexibility.
