Job Title: IT GRC Manager

The Role of IT GRC Manager is to oversee and implement Information Technology Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance across the organization.

  • Lead the compliance program to ensure IT activities, processes, and procedures align with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Develop and manage a robust IT Governance framework, overseeing both internal and external IT processes.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of governance, risk, and compliance frameworks, staying up-to-date on industry best practices.
  • Prepare and distribute periodic reporting schedules, develop metrics, and operationalize reporting activities to inform operational and executive leadership.
  • Collaborate with the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) team to ensure IT risk readiness across the entire landscape.
  • Provide expert guidance and advisory services to process owners, influencing decisions regarding governance and compliance.
  • Develop, review, and update IT Audit policies, procedures, and standards documents.
  • Coordinate and track information technology-related audits, including scope, parties involved, timelines, and outcomes.
  • Engage with customers, external auditors, and outside consultants as necessary for required IT assessments and audits.
  • Maintain strong relationships with audit entities and provide a consistent perspective that showcases the organization in its best light.
  • Define business process responsibilities and ownership of controls in the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) tool. Schedule regular assessments and testing of effectiveness and efficiency of controls.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Information Technology or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Holding at least one security certification is preferred.
  • Experience in a related industry with insight and understanding of IT policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of IT Risk, Compliance, and Cybersecurity Frameworks.
  • Ability to develop standards and guidelines based on best practices and industry standards.
  • Ability to implement IT policies, standards, and procedures leading to substantive improvements in compliance with large-scale companies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, including formal report writing experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and resolution of issues.
