Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a System Administration Specialist. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for providing expert-level support for our systems infrastructure.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring the optimal performance and availability of our systems, which includes troubleshooting, resolving issues, and implementing solutions.

You will work closely with our development teams to ensure seamless integration of new applications and services into our production environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Extensive knowledge of Linux/Unix systems, including configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization.
  • Strong scripting skills in Python, Perl, Shell, and SQL, with experience in automation and tool development.
  • Databases exposure to or skills in SQL Server and Oracle, including data modeling, query optimization, and backup/recovery procedures.
  • ECN connectivity and good network and firewall infrastructure understanding.
  • Good understanding of multicast messaging, preferably in a Tibco Rendezvous environment.
  • Ability to analyze network captures and identify root causes of issues.
  • Knowledge of Capital Markets business and environments is essential.
  • DEVOPS tools like Ansible, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Teamcity, Artifactory, etc.
  • Experience on Tools like Geneos, Dynatrace, Bladelogic, Autosys, CFT, MQ, SFTP, Splunk, Graphana, etc.
