
Agricultural Business Growth Manager

The Regional Business Manager will be responsible for driving business growth, portfolio quality and team productivity within the assigned region. The role demands strong expertise in agricultural lending, crop cycles, farmer connect and building partnerships with local stakeholders to achieve business goals while ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:- Business Development: Drive disbursement and portfolio growth of Crop Loan products in the assigned region. Achieve revenue, P&L and productivity targets as per business plans.
- Team Management: Lead, manage and mentor a team of Area Branch Managers, Sales Officers and Credit Officers. Build a high-performance culture through capability development, motivation and periodic performance reviews.
- Credit and Risk Management: Ensure high portfolio quality by adhering to credit underwriting policies and prudent risk management practices. Monitor delinquency, NPAs and take corrective actions to minimize risks.
- Post-Graduate in Agriculture, Agri-Business Management, Rural Management or MBA
- 10-15 years of experience in Agri Lending, preferably in Crop Loan
- Minimum 3-5 years in a regional leadership role managing multiple states/districts
Strong knowledge of agri-lending, crop cycles and rural customer behavior. Leadership, team management skills with ability to drive large field force.
