Location: Pune, Narayangaon

We are looking for an experienced candidate to join our team as a Cluster Head.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Leading production and operations in the cluster.
  • Planning, executing, and monitoring production planning, logistics, and customer delivery metrics in the cluster.
  • Collaborating closely with the sales team to forecast market demand and plan production accordingly.
  • Executing contracting farming activities with network farmers in compliance with company practices.
  • Mobilizing and finalizing suitable farmers, training them, and guiding them on regenerative organic production as per UFCo protocols.
  • Monitoring farming activities to ensure that practices are followed and no chemical usage is carried out.
  • Managing activities of collection centers at each RAC – receiving vegetables from network farmers, sorting, grading, and storage.
  • Ensuring produce quality and working closely with operations teams to supply produce to the Collection center/Distribution Center.
  • Planning RAC-level input production as per vegetable production plans.
  • Working with technical teams to execute practices as per the latest science in regenerative agriculture and provide feedback from the field to the technical Centre of Excellence.
  • Budget planning and cost optimization of all activities.
  • Exploring opportunities for expanding across multiple locations in the same region.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in agronomy or a related field.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of regenerative agriculture practices and principles.
  • Experience in budget planning and cost optimization.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
