About the Role

We are looking for a skilled professional to lead our technology team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise and excellent leadership skills.

The role involves designing, developing, and scaling our messaging platforms. We use PHP/MySQL and are planning to transition to microservices (Node.js/Go/Python).

The successful candidate will be responsible for architecting high-performance APIs, distributed systems, and database optimization. They will also ensure 99.9% uptime, security, and cost optimization of infrastructure.

In addition, the candidate will build and mentor a lean team (backend, frontend, QA). Collaboration on roadmap, new features, and compliance is also expected.

Requirements
  • 6–8 years of experience in backend/API-heavy systems.
  • Strong coding skills in PHP/MySQL, with exposure to Node.js/Go/Python.
  • Experience with high-scale messaging, API security, queues, load balancing.
  • Prior startup/leadership experience is preferred.
  • The ideal candidate is someone who loves to code, architect, and lead.

We are looking for a builder who wants to lead and code, not just manage.
