Job Role

We are seeking a skilled Assistant Manager to join our team in the mechanical component 2D drawings and 3D models department. This individual will be responsible for creating bills of material, managing documentation, and preparing assembly and part drawings for new product development.

  1. Design Development: Prepare detailed designs, including assembly and part drawings, as well as 3D models, for new products.
  2. Documentation Management: Develop and maintain accurate bills of material (BOMs) and ensure ISO compliance.
  3. Design Modification: Modify existing designs based on manufacturing requirements and sourcing needs.
  4. Product Development: Prepare design and drawing documents for new product development activities, including reverse engineering.
  5. Cost Analysis: Compare product costs with industry standards and perform market-oriented cost analysis.
  6. Design Standards: Establish and implement design standards and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  7. Technical Reporting: Prepare and present technical reports and presentations to stakeholders.
  8. ISO Compliance: Manage and work on all ISO 9001:2015 related design documents to ensure regulatory compliance.
  9. Training and Development: Train production personnel on approved manufacturing procedures and quality assurance practices.
  10. Issue Resolution: Resolve process-related issues to support manufacturing and sourcing teams.
  11. Customer Complaints: Respond to customer complaints in a timely manner to resolve issues.
  12. Correspondence: Prepare internal and external written correspondence to communicate effectively.

Required Skills:

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and experience with Auto Cad 2D & Solid works/Siemens NX (Unigraphics). Proficiency in MS Office is also essential.

Minimum Qualification:

A Diploma or BE Mechanical Engineering degree is required for this role.
