Carbon Market Development Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated professional to join our team as a Carbon Market Development Associate. This role will involve working closely with our business development team to provide services in carbon advisory, renewable energy, sustainability, and natural-based solutions.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to make a real impact in the field of carbon markets. As a Carbon Market Development Associate, you will be responsible for developing knowledge base of carbon markets through desk-based research and categorization of reports, documents, policies, and analysis at local and national levels;

  • Research and identify new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, and services or new ways of reaching existing markets;
  • Seek out appropriate contacts in organizations and generate leads through regular follow-ups;
  • Assist seniors in developing sales pitches for prospective clients and participate in presentations of business ideas;
  • Coordinate with other departments for smooth workflow and expedite processes through established practices;
  • Draw up client contracts based on company size and service requirements;
  • Support the reporting manager in tracking and maintaining leads generated and providing data for client-specific presentations;

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualification;
  • 1-3 years of experience in renewable energy, carbon consultancy, power sector, waste-to-energy, or natural-based solutions;
  • Ability to write reports, prepare PowerPoint presentations, and prepare contracts;
  • Effective time management skills to handle multiple deadlines and priorities;
  • Proactive attitude, willingness to take responsibility, and excellent communication skills;
  • Proficient in MS Office and adaptability in working nature with multitasking ability;
