The role of an Analyst is pivotal in processing transactions, events or data within a functional team. This position involves time-critical, complex or regulated tasks that necessitate interaction with internal and external stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities
  • To guarantee timely, complete and accurate processing of transactions, including performing relevant controls, within one's own area of responsibility.
  • To apply all internal and external policies, guidelines and requirements of regulators and agreed SLAs, KRIs and/or KPIs and quality measures effectively.
  • To build and maintain relationships with front office clients to provide a point of contact within the GBS functional team for time-critical, complex or regulated tasks.
  • To contribute to product/function development to ensure a superior offering in response to changing client needs and market trends.
  • To escalate operational, regulatory and other risks to line manager and functional leads as appropriate; contribute to the development and implementation of mitigation or control solutions.
  • To work effectively within one's own team, providing support and guidance to colleagues to create and foster an environment of continuous improvement.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Relevant experience in one or more specific technical areas, reconciliations experience being an added advantage.
  • Product and system knowledge in the product line.
  • Basic analytical skills, flexible regarding production problem solving.
  • Excellent communication skills, fluent in English and local language (written/verbal) as appropriate.
  • Able to work in virtual teams and matrix organizations.
  • Excellent team worker, able to work in virtual global teams and matrix organization.
  • Able to work in fast-paced environment, keep pace with technical innovation and maintain broad understanding of the GBS offering.
  • Open-minded, able to share information, transfer knowledge and expertise to team members.
