Job Title: Operations Support Team Lead

The Operations Support Team Lead plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our support processes, programs, and systems. This position requires strong leadership and coaching skills to provide guidance and training to support staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide coaching and training to support staff on operations support processes, programs, and systems.
  • Manage support staff and ensure they have the necessary tools to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Identify problems, seek solutions, and work collaboratively as a team player.
  • Process and update various reports related to support responsibilities, demonstrating effective project management skills.
  • Create and maintain productivity reports, analyzing training needs, processes, and systems to make recommendations for improvement.
  • Plan and schedule training for new staff, ensuring the training is conducted and completed as per the plan.
  • Analyze the impact of actions and responses before execution, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Motivate team members to achieve individual targets, facilitating periodical trainings and refreshers to develop team skills.
  • Develop and maintain a productive work team by hiring qualified personnel, training, and managing performance.
  • Manage teams with integrity, ethical business practices, and in accordance with Mouser policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Customarily and regularly direct the work of two or more full-time employees or their equivalent, making suggestions and recommendations for these employees regarding performance.
  • Manage daily operations to meet department and company objectives, working with minimum supervision and making independent judgments.
  • Be flexible to meet the changing needs of the business and willingness to take on new responsibilities and assignments.
  • Initiate, establish, and maintain highly effective relationships with internal and external business contacts of various cultures and at all levels.
  • Be extremely confidential and trustworthy, demonstrating knowledge, experience, and understanding of critical job functions of the team.
  • Assist management with the development of results-oriented strategies.
Requirements:
  • Exhibit strong problem-solving, organizational, and teaching skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook) at the advanced level is preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree in any field or minimum of 3 years prior work experience that is relevant to the team you will supervise.
  • Internal candidates: Minimum 1 year as a highly performing Lead/Coordinator or a total of 2 years as a highly performing Mouser employee.
  • External candidates: Minimum 2 years as a supervisor or higher-level management position.
