We are collaborating with a prominent medical technology leader with a global presence, headquartered in New Jersey.
The Opportunity
- We seek an experienced Head of Marketing to drive strategy and execution for the company's entire Surgery devices portfolio. This is a senior leadership role accountable for driving growth in a complex business unit.
- You will oversee a team of product marketers and serve as the central point of contact for all marketing activities within the division. The goal is to establish a robust marketing function that effectively connects product innovation with surgeon and patient needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and own the marketing strategy for the surgery portfolio, encompassing a wide range of products including sutures, meshes, and surgical instruments.
- Lead and mentor a team of product managers, guiding their work on individual product lines.
- Collaborate closely with sales teams to ensure alignment between marketing and sales strategies.
- Partner with R&D and manufacturing teams to provide market insights informing new product development.
- Foster strong relationships with top surgeons and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) across the country.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth.
- Oversee the launch of new products, ensuring they are positioned effectively to succeed in the market.
Requirements
- Deep experience in marketing, specifically within the medical device or broader healthcare industry.
- Direct experience with products in surgery is a significant plus, encompassing sutures, surgical meshes, energy devices, or endo-surgery products.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and develop a team.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams, from sales and R&D to senior leadership.
- Excellent communication skills and relationship-building capabilities with key doctors and hospital stakeholders.
- A good understanding of the Indian healthcare market.
