Job Purpose:
To support and manage the credit function, ensuring efficient collection of receivables, risk assessment, and adherence to company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise day-to-day operations and ensure timely collection of outstanding amounts.
- Analyze client accounts for risk exposure and overdue balances.
- Evaluate creditworthiness of clients; perform checks and recommend limits.
- Monitor aging reports and minimize overdue balances through regular follow-ups.
- Prepare and present metrics to senior management.
- Support junior staff in daily activities and performance goals.
- Coordinate with internal teams to align on customer accounts.
- Recommend accounts for escalation or write-off after thorough evaluation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5–7 years of experience in credit control, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Solid knowledge of credit risk assessment, receivables management, and dispute resolution.
- Proficient in ERP/accounting systems and MS Excel.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Team leadership and people management skills.
