Job Title: Data Engineering Specialist

Description:

Azure data engineers play a vital role in crafting and maintaining large-scale data processing systems. To excel in this position, one must have a strong foundation in data engineering principles, cloud-based technology experience, and exceptional problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and develop scalable data architectures using Azure services such as Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, and Python.
  2. Craft real-time data integrations using Kafka, Event Hubs, and other relevant tools to streamline business operations.
  3. Develop sophisticated Business Intelligence Dashboards and Data Models using Power BI, Azure SQL, Azure Synapse, or similar platforms.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions that meet organizational goals.
  5. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the organization remains competitive.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in data engineering with a proven track record of success.
  • Expert-level knowledge of SQL, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, Python, and other relevant tools (Informatica, Data Services, etc.).
