Financial Manager Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Financial Manager to oversee day-to-day financial operations and provide strategic support to senior management.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of accounts payable/receivable, payroll compliance, and general ledger management.
  • Preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Cash flow monitoring, investments, and cash forecasting.
  • Budgeting process management and cross-functional departmental budget planning support.

Accounting & Compliance:

  • Ensure GAAP and local tax regulations compliance.
  • Timely fill GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.) and handle GST audits.
  • Manage statutory and Tax audits, ensuring timely responses.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of transfer pricing compliance and documentation.
  • Filing Ministry of Corporate Affairs forms (MGT-7, AOC-4, DIR-3 KYC, etc.) and RBI forms (FLA return, FC-TRS, etc.) accurately and on time.
  • Document FEMA-related transactions and coordinate internal and external audits.
  • Maintain accurate accounting records and implement internal controls for asset protection.

Strategic Support:

  • Provide financial insights and analysis for strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with senior management on financial planning and risk management.
  • Evaluate financial performance by comparing actual results with plans and forecasts.
  • Conduct ad-hoc projects and analysis as needed.

Team Leadership:

  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff.
  • Continuously improve financial processes and systems.
  • Train staff on financial systems and compliance requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 10-15 years of experience in financial management and accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in financial software (e.g., NetSuite, Tally, etc.).
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
