Infrastructure Specialist Position

This opportunity is with one of our leading financial services domain clients.

Role:

As an Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our infrastructure. This includes middleware deployment and automation, troubleshooting and maintenance, cloud and containerization, CI/CD and automation, security and compliance, monitoring and performance, API management and integration, and support and operations.

  • Middleware Deployment & Automation: Proficient in manual and Ansible-based installation, configuration, and deployment of middleware stacks.
  • Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Level 3 issue resolution across middleware technologies. Experienced in taking and analyzing thread/heap dumps. Capable of planning and executing patching, OS, and DB maintenance.
  • Cloud & Containerization: Migrated middleware solutions to AWS (server & serverless). Hands-on with AWS services like EC2, S3, Lambda, Fargate, EKS, IAM, and CDK. Experienced with Kubernetes, Docker, and Podman.
  • CI/CD & Automation: Exposure to CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions. Adept at service provisioning, deployments, and user support.
  • Security & Compliance: Skilled in vulnerability remediation, certificate management (CSR generation, implementation, validation), audit coordination, and adherence to security guidelines
  • Monitoring & Performance: Monitoring and JVM tuning for WebSphere/Liberty
  • API Management & Integration: Understanding of REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, OAuth tokens. Troubleshooting experience using Postman, Apigee, Kong API.
  • Support & Operations: Provides on-call support for critical issues; ensures compliance with audit and operational requirements

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and 7-11 years of relevant experience. You should have hands-on experience with middleware deployment and automation, cloud and containerization, CI/CD and automation, security and compliance, monitoring and performance, API management and integration, and support and operations.
