Job Overview:

We are seeking a visionary Data Architect to spearhead the development of our data engineering solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust, scalable, and secure data architectures that meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop data architecture solutions on various cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Collaborate with data engineers, scientists, and stakeholders to translate needs into technical solutions.
  • Evaluate new technologies to improve data infrastructure and practices.
  • Create detailed documentation of data architecture, data flows, and processes.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Overall 8-12 years of experience with 3+ years in data architecture or similar role.
  • Proven expertise in designing and implementing data solutions on major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Solid understanding of cloud-native data services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience with big data technologies, data warehousing concepts.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, ETL/ELT processes, data modeling techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Preferred Skills:

  • DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Data governance tools and practices.
  • Certification in one or more cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
