We are seeking a meticulous Software Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team and elevate product excellence. As a key member, you will be responsible for rigorously testing Murf's products, from new feature releases to ongoing enhancements, ensuring they meet digital accessibility standards. This includes proactively identifying potential failure points through various data models, championing test automation where possible, and acting as the ultimate gatekeeper before any feature goes live.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing test design templates and test plans, and performing hands-on testing with a natural ability to deliver on short timelines.
  • Documenting test cases and tracking issues in Murf AI Studio.
  • Collaborating with developers, product managers, support teams, and other functional team members to understand requirements and determine the required scope of testing.
  • Working with different functional groups to identify gaps, prioritize, and resolve issues.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 3-4 years of experience working and testing software applications.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, ARIA, REST API, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as browser behavior.
  • A good understanding of white-box, black-box testing, smoke testing, sanity testing, and regression testing.
  • Experience working with trackers such as Jira/Sentry/Redmine/Bugzilla/etc.
  • The ability to quickly find the root cause of open production support tickets.
  • Debugging skills, able to convey and explain bug causes as a subject matter expert.
  • The ability to influence the development team to fix backlog bugs by clearly articulating the problem.

Bonus skills:

  • Understanding of development technologies (Java, JavaScript, REST API, ReactJs, CSS).
  • Experience with test automation of web applications.
  • Experience working in an Agile development lifecycle.
