About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity to take full ownership of high-impact legal work across a wide range of areas, from client negotiations and intellectual property protection to risk management and data privacy compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review, draft, negotiate, and verify commercial agreements (including software as a service, licensing, data sharing, master services agreements, non-disclosure agreements, etc.)
  • Support ensuring compliance with data protection laws (DPDP, GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
  • Contribute to internal compliance, IP protection, and risk management frameworks
  • Liaise with external counsel, partners, and regulators when necessary
  • Stay up-to-date on evolving legal and regulatory landscapes and proactively inform internal stakeholders
  • Assist in developing and maintaining internal legal processes and templates
  • Provide strategic legal input during product development and client onboarding

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in a law firm or as in-house counsel (TMT, fintech, or general corporate)
  • LL.B. required (LL.M. or certifications in data privacy/fintech are a plus)
  • Strong skills in legal drafting and negotiation
  • Understanding of software licensing, technology transfers, and data privacy
  • Clear, confident communication—able to simplify complex legal concepts for non-legal teams
  • Ability to manage multiple legal matters autonomously
