We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced violin teacher to join our faculty.

Job Description

As a violin teacher, you will be responsible for conducting live online classes for students of different age groups and skill levels. You will need to develop structured lesson plans based on our curriculum and the students' progress. Your expertise in teaching scales, ragas, compositions, and improvisation techniques is essential. Additionally, you will guide students in music theory, sight-reading, ear training, and performance skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct live 1:1 online violin classes.
  • Develop lesson plans based on our curriculum.
  • Teach various techniques including scales, ragas, and improvisation.
  • Guide students in music theory, sight-reading, and performance skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong foundation in violin performance and pedagogy. The following qualifications are required:

  • Grade 5 in Violin from a reputed institution or equivalent.
  • At least 4 years of prior teaching experience in violin.
  • Strong grasp of swara, tala, ragas, compositions, and improvisation techniques.
  • Proficiency in Hindi and English (additional regional languages are an asset).
