About the Role

In your first year, you will deliver analyses and experiments that drive core product metrics—match quality, time-to-hire, candidate experience, and revenue. Your responsibilities include:

  • Defining key metrics for our ranking, interview analytics, and payouts systems.
  • Designing and running A/B tests and quasi-experiments; translating results into product decisions within the same week.
  • Building source-of-truth dashboards and lightweight data models to enable teams to self-serve answers.
  • Instrumenting events with engineers; improving data quality and latency from ingestion to insight.
  • Prototyping quick models (from baselines to gradient boosting) to enhance matching and scoring.
  • Assisting in evaluating LLM-powered agents: designing rubrics, human-in-the-loop studies, and guardrail canaries.

You possess solid fundamentals (statistics, SQL, Python) and projects that demonstrate your expertise. You iterate fast—frame the question, test, and ship in days—and value clarity of communication as much as p-values. Curiosity about LLM evaluation, retrieval, and ranking is a plus; you'll learn alongside experienced professionals who've shipped at leading tech companies.

Requirements

  • 0–2 years in data science/analytics or similar; BS/BA in a quantitative field (or equivalent work).
  • Strong SQL; Python for analysis; comfort with experiment design and causal thinking.
  • Effective communication with engineers, PMs, and leadership; turning analysis into actionable insights.
  • Nice-to-haves: dbt, dashboarding (Hex/Mode/Looker), marketplace or search/recommendation metrics, LLM/agent evaluation.
