Content Strategy Manager Job Description

This is a senior-level content position that requires a strategic thinker to develop and execute a holistic content plan.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy aligned with business objectives, SEO best practices, and brand messaging.
  • Lead a team of content creators and provide guidance on writing, editing, and design principles.
  • Oversee the creation of high-quality, original content across multiple formats, including blog posts, case studies, whitepapers, website content, social media, email campaigns, and video scripts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including SEO, product, design, and performance marketing, to ensure content effectiveness and consistency.
  • Plan and manage a content calendar that supports product launches, campaigns, and thought leadership initiatives.
  • Use data analytics tools to track content performance and make data-driven decisions to optimize content.
  • Maintain and evolve brand tone, voice, and messaging guidelines across all content channels.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, English, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in content creation and strategy, preferably in a B2B/B2C digital environment.
  • Proven experience leading a content or editorial team.
  • Strong command of written English and editorial best practices.
  • Proficiency in content management systems (CMS), SEO tools, and analytics platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
