Training Expert

Are you a seasoned trainer with expertise in organic agriculture and allied sectors? We are seeking a skilled Training & Capacity Building Specialist to join our team.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced professional to lead our training initiatives. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering high-quality training programs on organic farming, certification processes, and project guidelines.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough training needs assessments and develop customized capacity-building interventions for farmers and field staff.
  • Design and deliver comprehensive training programs, including training inputs and methodologies, on organic agriculture and related topics.
  • Maintain and update a training content calendar for structured execution.
  • Monitor, document, and report training activities, ensuring timely submission to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with project teams, government departments, and external agencies for seamless coordination of training activities.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A postgraduate degree in Agriculture/Agri-Business Management/ Biological Sciences or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in training & capacity building, with a focus on organic agriculture and allied sectors.
  • Familiarity with training monitoring, reporting, and outcome assessment.
  • Experience in similar assignments in the Northeast region of India is an added advantage.
