Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned market analyst to cover the global ferroalloys and bulk ores markets, with a focus on India. As a key member of our editorial team, you will be responsible for reporting prices, gathering market feedback, and generating news content on the ferroalloys and bulk ores markets.

You will work closely with industry-leading journalists and analysts to report price assessments, define specifications, and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders in the ferroalloys space.

  • Report weekly price assessments for ferroalloys and bulk ores, with a focus on the Indian market.
  • Develop new price specifications and gather market feedback to improve data accuracy.
  • Generate news content and articles on the ferroalloys and bulk ores markets, working closely with colleagues in Africa and Europe.
Required Skills & Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must possess excellent technical skills, including data analysis and reporting. You should also have strong business development skills, with experience in sales pipelines and account management. Additionally, you should be able to represent the company as a public face in the ferroalloys space, via client engagements, industry presentations, and media interviews.

A strong understanding of the ferroalloys and bulk ores markets, including regulatory developments, geopolitical issues, investment opportunities, and project pipelines is essential. Experience with ESG considerations and sustainability initiatives is also beneficial.
