Job Title: Portfolio Management Specialist

">About the Role
  • To ensure timely disbursement of loans with minimal delinquency rates.
  • To identify and capitalize on Joint Liability Group opportunities that align with our target customer base and geographical regions.
  • To drive business growth by developing and leading high-performing teams across assigned territories, thereby expanding our market reach and penetration.
  • To assess potential client bases and product acceptability in new regions, areas, and opportunities for geographical expansion of operational areas.
  • Effective disbursement, repayment, and delinquency management to achieve daily/weekly collection targets.
  • Closely monitoring disbursed loans, particularly those not meeting payment schedules.
  • Regular field visits, center meetings, and loan applicant interactions to ensure seamless operations.
  • Maintaining portfolio quality by tracking and controlling normal dues, non-starters, delinquencies, and potential frauds.
  • Fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, while building a robust brand identity among potential customers.
  • Scheduling regular weekly/daily meetings and visits to centers.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience as a sales officer in microfinance, with a basic understanding of microfinance business and JLG models being preferred.
