Software Engineer for IoT Solutions

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our team working on a large-scale software project providing M2M IoT modules, e.g., to the automotive, healthcare, and logistics industries.

Our Role in the Project:

  • We contribute to our customer in developing end-user modules firmware, implementing new features, maintaining compatibility with the newest telecommunication and industry standards, as well as performing analysis and estimations of the customer requirements.

Requirements:

  • 4 years of experience in software development with proficiency in .NET Core and C#.
  • Strong experience in backend development using ASP.NET MVC, Web API, Entity Framework, and Microservices Architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with RESTful API development and API security protocols like OAuth, JWT, and API Gateway.
  • Exposure to frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS for application deployment.
  • Experience with database technologies such as SQL Server, NoSQL, and caching frameworks like Redis or Memcached.
  • Focus on writing clean, maintainable, and testable code with attention to detail in code quality and coverage.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Application Development: Design, build, and maintain backend services using .NET Core and C#.
  • API Development: Develop REST APIs and ensure proper data communication between services; Ensure APIs are secure by following standard protocols such as OAuth, JWT, and API Key management.
  • Database Management: Work with SQL Server and NoSQL databases for data storage and retrieval.
  • Code Quality & Testing: Write clean, testable code and participate in code reviews; Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and participate in peer code reviews.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other developers, product managers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality products; Participate in daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
