Established IT consulting and service organizations require skilled engineers to handle communication protocol development and Unified Diagnostic Services within automotive systems. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and providing technical support and documentation.

This challenging position demands extensive experience in engine management systems, strong knowledge of communication protocols (CAN, LIN), experience with Unified Diagnostic Services (UDS) and diagnostic protocols, proficiency in programming languages such as C, excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate clearly, a bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, and experience with testing tools and methodologies.

We seek a highly skilled COMM and UDS Engineer who can optimize protocols, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement communication protocols for automotive systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation and optimization of protocols.
  • Provide technical support and documentation for automotive system configuration and development.
  • Maintain compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Extensive experience in engine management systems.
  • Strong knowledge of communication protocols (CAN, LIN).
  • Experience with Unified Diagnostic Services (UDS) and diagnostic protocols.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C.
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
