Strategic Finance Leader

This is a senior finance role that requires strong financial controllership and compliance skills.

The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of progressive experience in finance, with 3+ years in a leadership position.

They should have a solid understanding of GAAP, tax laws, and audit practices.

Hands-on experience with ERPs, MIS, and business finance tools is also required.

Key responsibilities include leading the finance function with a focus on strategic planning, finance controllership, investor relations, and financial operations.

Additionally, the role requires strengthening internal financial controls, risk management, and compliance, overseeing implementation of robust accounting practices and ERP systems, managing statutory audits, leading long-term financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, partnering with leadership on strategic initiatives, growth plans, and capital allocation, driving initiatives to improve profitability, unit economics, and ROI, overseeing daily finance operations including accounts payable, receivable, and payroll, ensuring tax compliance (GST, TDS, income tax) and regulatory adherence, reviewing and approving all financial processes, reconciliations, and vendor payments, supporting equity and debt fundraising efforts, building investor confidence through transparent and timely reporting, leading financial due diligence, board reporting, and investor communication, and leading, mentoring, and scaling a high-performing finance and accounts team.

The ideal candidate should be a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with a strong background in finance controllership and compliance.

They should have proven experience in high-growth start-ups, construction, real estate, or tech industries, and excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
