Job Title: Assistant Director of Finance

Overview

We are seeking a seasoned finance leader to manage the Record-to-Report (RTR) function with expertise in financial reporting, accounting, and stakeholder management.

The role involves leading a team, driving process excellence, ensuring compliance, and partnering with stakeholders to deliver accurate and timely financial results.

  • Lead the RTR function including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Manage and review journal entries, accruals, provisions, balance sheet reconciliations, and intercompany accounting, maintaining compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
  • Drive process improvements, standardization, and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to support audits, compliance, and financial analysis requirements.
  • Monitor and ensure adherence to SLAs, KPIs, and control frameworks.
  • Provide guidance, training, and performance management for the RTR team.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of R2R/RTR processes, including General Ledger, closing, and reporting, reconciliations, and controls.
  • Solid understanding of accounting standards (IFRS/US GAAP).
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage a team and drive performance.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: Chartered Accountant
  • Experience: 10-14 years overall experience, with at least 4-5 years in R2R/RTR and team leadership.
  • Prior exposure to shared services/global finance operations is highly desirable.
