Project Manager Role Summary:

Job Description

The successful candidate will lead a team of engineers to deliver projects that meet the required standards. This involves preparing feasibility study reports, assembling design specifications, and monitoring project progress.

  • Prepare detailed designs for building structures in compliance with WSP and B Regulations standards.
  • Carry out complex calculations, coordinate input from team members, and review calculations for QA and technical sign-off.
  • Ensure accurate information is provided for project costing preparation and keep the team informed about design decisions.
  • Coordinate project contracts documents, including drawings and specifications, and manage queries from the team.
  • Report any variances between constructed works and design intent to the team and stakeholders.
  • Manage commissions from the team using project management tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Proven experience in building structure design with significant experience in a similar role or track record.
  • Good presentation skills and proficiency in technical structural software such as RAM, CSC, ETABS, and SAFE.
  • Sound understanding of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Project.
  • Fluency in English with excellent understanding of technical terminology.
