Structural Design Expert

We are seeking a skilled Structural Design Expert to support our team in coordinating, reviewing, and executing engineering aspects of building projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed structural design documentation for internal reviews and presentations.
  • Analyze structural systems using software tools to ensure optimal building performance.
  • Track design deliverables and timelines to guarantee project milestones are met.
  • Coordinate with vendors and procurement teams to gather technical data and specifications.
  • Conduct quality checks and audits of structural works at project sites.
  • Assist in preparing responses to RFIs (Requests for Information) and technical queries from contractors.
  • Develop innovative solutions for structural materials and technologies.
  • Create accurate cost estimates and quantity take-offs for structural components.
  • Maintain organized records of correspondence, drawings, and approvals for audit and reference.
  • Support sustainability and safety initiatives in structural design and execution.

Qualifications and Work Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
  • 10 years of proven experience in structural engineering (internships or project experience preferred).

Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of structural design principles and construction methods.
  • Familiarity with building codes and standards.
  • Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., ETABS, STAAD Pro, SAFE).
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a collaborative environment.
