Commodities Trading Specialist

The project is long-term, offering opportunities for development and advancement. You will be part of a team that supports significant development and change, expecting to expand the existing application by 3-4 times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Level 2-Level 3 support for Murex Accounting issues in production environments.
  • Monitor and resolve incidents, service requests, and change requests related to Murex workflows and BO modules.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve trade confirmations, settlements, payments, and accounting issues within Murex.
  • Investigate and resolve STP breaks and reconciliation issues.
  • Support batch processes, EOD Intraday reporting issues, and interfaces between Murex and other upstream/downstream systems.
  • Participate in release management, testing, and deployment activities related to system changes.
  • Document incident resolutions, known errors, and standard procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 4-7 years of experience in Murex application support, with at least 5 years focused on Back Office modules.
  • Strong understanding of trade lifecycle and settlement processes for various asset classes (Equities, Commodities, etc.).
  • Experience with Murex workflows, confirmations, settlements, accounting, and Datamart knowledge.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Unix/Linux scripting, and batch job monitoring tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to perform under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
