
Project Coordination Specialist

The core responsibility of this role is to effectively oversee project operations in line with industry standards, thereby enabling the acquisition of new projects and driving business growth through enhanced customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Project Planning: Develop and present strategic project plans to relevant stakeholders in accordance with established project management protocols. Submit customer proposals based on approved financial parameters and negotiate contract approvals from senior management.
- Project Oversight & Escalation: Manage stakeholder expectations during the project lifecycle and escalate project-specific or customer-related topics to senior leadership for intervention.
- Performance Metrics Management: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) influenced by factors such as currency fluctuations, regional market indices, etc.
- Product Change Management Activities: Implement product change management activities, series support, engineering change request (ECR) management, product life cycle management (PLCM) topics including restriction of hazardous substances (RoHS) compliance.
- Monthly Financial Tracking: Monitor project budgets, customer research and development billing, etc.
- Sample Coordination: Collaborate with global manufacturing teams (technical version, ordering, and tracking).
- Quality & Audit Management: Address customer site issues and conduct customer plant audits.
Qualifications & Skills:
Hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Processes, or Automobile Engineering, with 3-5 years of experience in handling customer projects through sales, project management, development, or application.
Essential Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with commercial acumen and an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Leadership skills in negotiation, communication, presentation, and adaptability.
- Proficient project planning, risk management skills, and self-motivation to perform under challenging circumstances with quality and timeline focus.
- Competent customer relationship management.
Technical Expertise:
- Proficient in SAP, MS office tools, PPAP, and APQP processes.
- Advanced knowledge of diesel/alternative powertrain technologies, engine management systems, product development life cycles, overview of Bosch product portfolios, and new developments.
This position requires a strong understanding of project management principles and practices, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
