Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee account management, ensuring accurate and timely financial entries.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial statements, reports, and forecasts to inform strategic business decisions.
  • Facilitate international transactions by handling currency conversions, trade finance documentation, and compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain adherence to international accounting standards, tax laws, and customs regulations.
  • Collaborate closely with logistics, procurement, and shipping teams to optimize costing and invoicing processes.
  • Coordinate overseas payments, foreign remittances, and trade financing activities with banks.
  • Monitor and analyze financial data related to import/export activities to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Support budgeting, cash flow management, and variance analysis to ensure financial stability.
  • Prepare and submit tax filings for VAT/GST or other cross-border taxes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide necessary documentation for internal and external audits, demonstrating transparency and accountability.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in international trade or export-import industries.
  • Strong understanding of global financial regulations, forex management, and trade compliance.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, such as Tally or ERP systems.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Preferred:

  • Experience with multi-currency transactions and hedging activities.
