Accounting Position

Our organization seeks a meticulous and proactive accounting professional to join its growing finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting compliance across various tax regulations.

This role is suited for individuals who are eager to grow in a structured finance environment with strong fundamentals in accounting and taxation.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily accounting operations including:
  • Journal entries, ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations
  • Accounts receivable and accounts payable
  • Vendor payments and customer invoicing
  • Ensure timely filing of:
  • GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, annual returns)
  • TDS payments, returns (Form 26Q, 27Q), and certificate issuance
  • Income Tax provisions, advance tax, and other applicable financial compliances
  • Assist in preparation of:
  • Monthly MIS reports
  • Audit schedules and statutory audit support
  • Cash flow statements and financial analysis as required
  • Maintain proper documentation and records for audit and regulatory purposes
  • Coordinate with external consultants on compliance and filing matters

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce (mandatory)
  • Chartered Accountancy Intermediate or semi-qualified CA (preferred)
  • Experience:
  • 0–2 years of relevant experience in accounting and tax compliance
  • Internship experience in a CA firm or finance function is an added advantage

  • Technical Skills
  • Sound knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and basic financial controls
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Hands-on experience with Tally ERP
  • Strong problem-solving mindset
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic formulas)
  • Soft Skills
  • Effective communication and teamwork
  • Working understanding of GST, TDS & Income Tax rules
  • Ability to manage timelines and multitask
