Job Title: Chief Financial Officer

The organization seeks an experienced Chief Financial Officer to lead the finance function of a major hotel property.

This role champions, develops, and implements property-wide strategies that deliver products and services meeting or exceeding customer needs and expectations.

The CFO provides financial expertise to enable successful implementation of the brand service strategy and initiatives while maximizing return on investment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops means to improve profit by estimating costs and benefits, exploring new business opportunities.
  • Analyzes information, forecasts sales against expenses, and creates annual budget plans.
  • Compiles information, analyzes, and monitors actual sales against projected sales.
  • Identifies differences between actual and forecasted wages for efficient budget planning.
  • Thinks creatively and practically to develop, execute, and implement new business plans.
  • Creates the annual operating budget for the property.
  • Provides analytical support during budget reviews to identify cost-saving and productivity opportunities.
  • Implements a system of appropriate controls to manage business risks.
  • Ensures a strong accounting and operational control environment to safeguard assets and profitability.
  • Analyzes financial data and market trends.

Qualifications:

  • CA/MBA/Masters degree with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 10+ years experience in accounting preferably with the hotel industry
