Senior Data Scientist Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist to apply machine learning, deep learning, and artificial intelligence techniques to extract value from business data.

This role involves applying advanced analytics methods to identify hidden relationships and construct new analytics methods. The ideal candidate will also develop and implement Markov decision process models and healthcare economic models.

The successful applicant will visualize information and develop reports on the results of data analysis. They will also influence product teams through presentation of data-based recommendations and spread best practices to analytics and product teams.

To be successful in this role, the candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, information technology, or related field. They should also have 3+ years of professional experience working with large datasets for drawing business insights.

Key skills required for this role include professional working knowledge of machine learning, including solving complex business problems, predictive modeling, leveraging both structured and unstructured data sources, relational databases, and SQL. Additionally, the ideal candidate should be fluent in Python or R programming and have demonstrated ability to learn new technologies.

Preferred qualifications for this role include a Master's degree in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, or related field. Experience in cloud environments is also beneficial. The ideal candidate should have professional working knowledge of distributed computing and big data technologies, such as Spark or related technologies. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is also preferred.
