The primary objective of this role is to oversee the daily operations of our data center, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.

This position requires a proactive individual with extensive experience in managing data center environments, leading a team of technicians, and implementing best practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the data center, overseeing all aspects of hardware and software components.
  • Implement and enforce data center policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support project deployments and troubleshooting.
  • Monitor data center infrastructure and services, addressing issues proactively to minimize downtime.
  • Lead and mentor a team of data center technicians and engineers, promoting professional growth and development.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations regarding data security and management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 6-8 years of experience in data center operations or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure, including servers, storage, and networking.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Proficient in monitoring and management tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
