Desktop Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Desktop Support Specialist to play a vital role in maintaining the functionality and reliability of an organization's IT environment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in desktop support, with expertise in Microsoft Windows operating systems and Office applications. They will also possess excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, as well as strong customer service and communication skills.
In this role, you will be responsible for administering Microsoft Intune for endpoint management, providing support for Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) infrastructure, including user provisioning and issue resolution.
You will also manage incident and service request management processes to ensure timely resolution of user issues and requests.
Furthermore, you will utilize Nexthink for proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident resolution.
Additionally, you will handle grant application/drive/folder access requests and ensure proper permissions are granted according to security policies.
Other key responsibilities include administering user accounts in Active Directory, facilitating consultant onboarding/offboarding processes, managing access to collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams, and performing remote software installations and configurations.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, and have proven experience in desktop support or a similar role.
