Job Overview

The role of Senior Analyst - Treasury entails overseeing the organization's financial health, encompassing liquidity management, foreign exchange exposures, and investments.

This position demands a profound understanding of corporate treasury operations, accompanied by expertise in financial modeling and proficiency in managing treasury systems (TMS).

Liquidity Management
  • Optimize daily cash flows to ensure optimal liquidity across geographies.
  • Develop short-term and long-term cash forecasts.
  • Support automation initiatives for efficient payments.
Foreign Exchange & Risk Management
  • Monitor FX exposures and execute hedging strategies according to established policies.
  • Calculate MTM valuations and prepare detailed exposure reports.
  • Negotiate with banks on FX agreements and derivative instruments.
Investments & Fund Management
  • Assess investment options, recommending FDs, money markets, bonds, etc.
  • Ensure risk-return trade-offs align with investment policies.
  • Track portfolio performance, P&L, and maintain accurate investment records.
Banking & Compliance
  • Maintain relationships with domestic and international banks for treasury operations.
  • Secure cost-effective banking terms through negotiations.
  • Ensure compliance with RBI guidelines and internal treasury policies.
Reporting & Analysis
  • Prepare MIS, dashboards, and comprehensive treasury reports for leadership review.
  • Support quarterly and annual reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with accounting and audit teams for accuracy and compliance.

Key Requirements:

  • Expertise in corporate treasury operations, including liquidity, FX, and investments.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, MS Excel, and TMS.
  • Familiarity with hedging instruments, derivatives, and investment options.
  • Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of RBI/FEMA compliance is preferred.

Qualifications:

  • MBA in Finance with CFA/FRM certification is highly desirable.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant corporate treasury experience.
  • Experience limited to banking roles will not be considered.
