**Job Opportunity:** Tax Manager

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Tax Manager. This position requires expertise in GST and Direct Tax matters.

  • About the Role:
  • - Reconcile GST inputs, prepare statutory filings, and analyze GST implications on various transactions. Key skills include analytical thinking and attention to detail.
  • - Manage internal stakeholders' queries and involvement in corporate tax litigation, including appeal filings and research up to the Tribunal level. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this area.
  • - Handle departmental interactions for rectifications, refund matters, order-giving effects, stay applications, and closure of audit queries. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively is critical.
  • - Prepare GST schedules for audit purposes and reply to various GST notices and representations before tax authorities. Proficiency in relevant software and systems is necessary for this task.
  • Tax Responsibilities:
  • - Calculate TDS on a monthly basis, prepare and file TDS returns, and assist in preparation and filing of income tax returns of corporates and group companies. Accuracy and attention to detail are crucial when working with financial data.
  • - Prepare income tax computations, deferred tax computations, and ETRs, as well as provide routine withholding tax advisory. Understanding of tax laws and regulations is essential for this role.
  • Additional Expectations:
  • - Coordinate with internal departments and consultants for assessment proceedings. Effective time management and organizational skills are required to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • - Manage teams and coordinate work effectively. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills are necessary for success in this area.
  • - Support special audits and IPO-related work, and analyze changes in law and their impact on the organization. Adaptability and flexibility are key qualities for this role.
