Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation Designer to provide high-quality design and drafting services.

  • This role involves initiating, managing and supervising design assignments on project requirements, ensuring timely completion within specified parameters.
  • The ideal candidate will perform discipline-specific design and drafting services, including preparing and overseeing the production of engineering drawings and documentation.
  • Key responsibilities include ensuring all drawings and documents are checked in accordance with industry standards, participating in project reviews, and providing technical support to the discipline team and project teams.
  • Effective communication with the discipline team, clients, and other project stakeholders is crucial, along with making presentations as required.
  • In this role, you may act as the discipline Lead on specific projects, identify issues and problems, develop innovative solutions, and seek assistance when needed.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Substantial design and drafting experience in instrumentation and control systems, preferably in multi-disciplinary projects and teams.
  • Proficiency in modelling tools such as E3D, AutoCAD, SPI (for loop drawings, Wiring), PDS, Microstation.
  • A recognized design qualification in instrumentation or equivalent is essential.

Required Qualifications:
  • Degree in instrumentation or related field.
  • Proven experience in instrumentation design and drafting.
  • Strong understanding of industry standards and best practices.
